    Morning Announcements

    Talent Show Auditions will be held today after school today (5/5) in the Elementary Chorus Room for Thursday’s (5/8) Spring Arts Festival. See Mr. Roberts or Ms. Murphy if you have questions.

    Congratulations to the Thespians Troupe who just returned from a tremendous 4 days competing and participating in the Florida State Thespians Festival, the largest of its kind in the world. Excellent Scores went to Brittany Stokes for her monologues and to Elizabeth Johanson, Carolina Rodriguez, and Brittany Stokes for their ensemble acting piece, and the cast and crew of the One Act play, Born to Be Blue, received an Excellent rating for their overall performance and a Superior score for their technical work.Superior Scores went to Meredith Rogers for her musical solo, to Jessie Cooper, Mariel Mena, and Anna Dvorak for their small group musical, and to Liam Fitzgerald, Logan Hamilton, Paul Rye, and Brittany Kelly for their small group musical.
    Thespians Officers please come to Ms. Hill’s office during lunch to finalize details for the awards ceremony.

    Congratulations to the Cast & Crew of 42nd Street. It was a total success with sold-out performances and standing ovations. Many people felt that it was our best Musical yet. Special thanks to all the Teachers for all your support and who made it such a success!

    There is a meeting for anyone interested in playing summer baseball at 8:00am on Tuesday (5/6)morning in Coach Carnley's room.

    Track team uniforms are overdue turn yours in immediately to the front office today (5/5).

    There will be a Key Club meeting Tuesday (5/6) during high school lunch in O-362 (Ms. Andrews’ room). In addition to our regular business, we will be nominating candidates for 2008-2009 officers. All members, please plan to attend. If you have participated in Key Club activities for service hours, don’t forget to bring completed community service forms!

    Looking for something fun to do this Friday (5/9) night? Come see R-evolution an amazing student run show put on by the instrumental music class. There will be rock, blues, bluegrass and fun for all. The show is at 7:00pm and is free-yes free to everyone. Come on out and support your classmates as they perform a musical work of art for you.

    Applications for Tri-M are due TODAY (5/5). Applications must be in the front office in Mr. Mackintosh’s box by 3 pm TODAY. The Induction Banquet is tomorrow night (Tuesday 5/6).

    Middle School Students – National Junior Honor Society applications can be picked up in Mr. Carnley’s room and Mrs. Weller’s room. All completed applications are due by Friday, May 9th.

    Any Sophomore or Junior with an unweighted G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher may pick up an application for membership in the National Honor Society from Mr. Seymour in room L-353. All completed National Honor Society applications are due to Mr. Seymour by todayday, (5/5).

    Prom tickets are on sale now. Tickets are $35 each and can be purchased any time at the business office. The Prom is Saturday May 10th. Don't miss out on this "enchanted" event.

    Cheerleaders are selling delicious snow cones for $1 at the cafeteria every Tuesday and Thursday after school.

    Reitz Union Art Honors show is April 25- May 8.

    The P.K. Yonge Tumblin Creek Arts festival Thurs (5/8) 4-7pm.

    Spring Band concert Tuesday (5/20) 7:30pm. Featuring Mr. Porter’s band students.
