Health Science club is cancelled for today.
LaCrosse uniforms MUST be turned in to Coach Barrett or Ms. Palmer this week.If you do not turn them in you can’t take your final exams.
Today is the day we begin distributing yearbooks. Teachers, you will shortly receive a list of seniors who bought a yearbook by the deadline.
Please allow these students to head to the gym at 1 p.m. The signing party will go from 1 to 2 p.m. The yearbook staff will have Sharpies for sale for $1. Juniors, you'll get your books tomorrow. Books are still available for $60. See Ms. Brammer in L-355 to buy one.
The Parent Teacher Organization is pleased to announce the winners of the Boxtops for Education contest held this month. The class who turned in the most was Mrs. Donnelly's Kindergarten class with a total of 502. Second place was Mr. Davidson's Homeroom class with 403 total. Third place was Mr. Steffens 3rd grade class with 350 total. For turning in the most Boxtops this month, Mrs. Donnelly's class will be treated to a pizza party very soon!
Students, don't forget to continue to collect your Boxtops symbols over the summer so you can enter them in the next contest next school year.

- 11th grade in the PAC on Tues. May 27
Candidates must give a copy of their speech to Coach Scott by Wed. May 21st.......
Voting will take place immediately following each session in the PAC....

Congratulations to the 2008-09 Key Club officers:President—Celeste Delallana,Vice President—Gisela Fernandez, Secretary—Megan Young, Treasurer—Britton Pollitt.There will be a meeting of the 2008-09 Key Club officers in Ms. Andrews’ room during high school lunch on Tuesday (5/20). All new officers MUST attend.
All members of this year’s track and field squad need to let Coach Mrs. Hollinger know if you are attending the team end of season celebration this Thursday (5/22) afternoon. The team is going to skate station after school with team awards at 6:00pm. See coach Mrs. Hollinger if you are planning on attending. It is free for all athletes in good standing which means your uniforms are turned in. Please let Coach Mrs. H know by either sending her an email or leaving her a note in the front office.
Burma Cyclone Relief Effort:The leadership class will be collecting donations to help cyclone victims in Burma through Friday (5/23)
Collections can be turned in during home room, Middle school, and high school lunch.
Loose change is everywhere, put it to good use.
This is to remind the students to return their overdue books. If they don’t take care of this by Friday, they will be signed to lunch detention in ISS room next week. So hurry up to the library to return the overdue books and pay for the overdue fines.
High School Vocal Music Students are reminded to get all uniforms dry-cleaned NOW. Uniforms were due this morning, (5/20) before school, beginning at 7:30 AM. Uniforms should be taken to the Chorus Room and turned in there. All uniforms must be turned in dry-cleaned and in their PK PAC uniform bag with all pieces intact. Students will not be allowed to take exams until uniforms are turned in or paid for.
The Acting Showcase will be held at the PAC on Friday, May 23, at 7pm, featuring a variety of performances from the high school Drama students. The show is free to all, but donations will be accepted to help support the Thespians Club for the 08-09 school year.
Mrs. Harris’ 8th grade students are reminded that the 8th grade Performing Arts Banquet is Thursday (5/22).Please bring RSVP to Mrs. Harris by today. (5/20).
Auditions for Chorus will be held on today, May 20 3-5 pm. Anyone wanting to register for Mixed Chorus or Women’s Chorus must audition to be able to register for the course. Students should prepare a song, however, they can always sing “Happy Birthday.” A sign-up sheet is on the Chorus Room door.
Cheerleaders are selling delicious snow cones for $1 at the cafeteria every Tuesday and Thursday after school.

Spring Football game Friday (5/23) at Lafayette (Mayo) 7:30pm.
Elementary and Middle school end of the year Choral concert, Wed. 5/28 at 7pm
Senior Banquet is Thurs. (5/29) (For Seniors, faculty and staff.)
Graduation is Friday (5/30) 7pm at the Phillips Center for Performing Arts. No charge but tickets are required.
The end of the year is approaching fast.Teachers please check your rooms and area for lost and found items.Please send clothing and back packs to the attendance office, other items to the front office (keys, glasses, watches, wallets, cell phones etc.)
